Our Balik Eskwela ("Back to School") Mission. Over a five-day period in June 2018 we served eight schools in Nueva Ecija distributing backpacks and school supplies to all.  In collaboration with local healthcare employees, Lions Club volunteers, members of the Philippine Army and lay volunteers we also provided medical mission services that included vision screening, general health check-ups, teeth cleaning, hair delousing, free haircuts, children’s vitamins and general medicine distribution.  In tandem with this, select schools were also provided with new school uniforms, footwear and hot meals. All children reached, received goodie bags filled with candy from the USA. In total, approximately 1600 school children were served.
